Why Solid Modeling?

3-D Solid Modeling provides the engineer the ability to design in the same manner as the product is manufactured.

The model is developed in a parametric environment, i.e. the values assigned can be changed after the model is developed. The affected parts, assemblies, and drawings will update when the model is regenerated with the new values. Interferences and misalignments are immediately recognized. As assemblies are updated with additional components the bill of materials and drawings are updated automatically (or parametrically).

Solid modeling files can be exported directly to CNC machine language eliminating time and errors in
file transfer and input. Manufacturing time is reduced.

Design time is significantly reduced.
